RightBooth version 7.30.0 is now released. Download here This version contains the following new features and fixes: Optimised for Windows 11 Microsoft officially dropped support for Windows 10 at the end of October 2025. As a result, RightBooth has now been updated to use the latest Microsoft development tools and updated system DLLs. This provides more compatibility with Windows 11. Note: RightBooth will also continue to be supported on Windows 10 until further notice. Add support for Nano Banana AI Image Modification See here for full details Rich Text Terms and Conditions and Check Boxes Watch this video for details: Add the Twilio SMS feature User's videos and photos can now be sent to mobile phones using Twilio. Details Allow users to choose an AI photo effect Details Add the Signature Feature to the Terms and Conditions Screen Watch the video: Add 'Show QR codes' options to the Media view item QR codes can now be shown on all thumbnails in the Media browser event screen: Webcam mask area feature: Blur and pixelation It is now possible to add a blur or pixelation area over a video recording. Reset photo action
A new Reset photo action is provided to allow you to reset a photo back to its original state (as obtained from the camera). This is useful if the current photo has been altered during the workflow (e.g. using AI modifications) and the user wishes to remove the modification and try different effects. Touch swipe manipulation RightBooth grid items now respond to touch swipe manipulations in Play mode if they contain more items than can be displayed in the grid. This allows you to use the 'finger swipe' gesture to browse items in the grid. Auto run Package files Double clicking a package file (.rbep) in Windows Explorer will now cause RightBooth to open and automatically install the event package. Fast App Restart The App Restart feature has been improved. App restart no longer requires the Watchdog to be running and the restart time typically now takes under 3 seconds to complete. Note: When running RightBooth for long sessions, it is recommended to periodically restart the app in order to recover from potentially incremental memory leaks. Webcam Connection Detect When playing an event, RightBooth will now detect when the main webcam is plugged into the PC and will automatically restart in order to get the webcam working in the event. Convert MP4 file assets to WMV file format A new setting is available that will automatically convert MP4 video files to the WMV file format. This can happen in the Screen Editor at the time an MP4 video file is chosen to be included as an asset on an event screen. Note: On some systems, prolonged use of MP4 video files can lead to reduced performance of RightBooth over time. Using WMV video files negates this issue. Miscellaneous Features
