RightBooth 7.20.3 Released

RightBooth version 7.20.3 was released on June 12th 2025.

New features

• Add the AI modify photo features, using the Flux.1 Kontext AI model - Details
• Add the Printer property on the Print layout event screen Properties Toolbox.  This allows you to assign a specifically named printer to a layout design.
• Add the Auto crop photos properties on the Print layout event screen Properties Toolbox.  When ticked, this will cause all photos taken during the event to be automatically cropped to fit the first photo placeholder that is specified on the print layout design.
• Add the Same folder as event setting in Settings -> Folders/Files.  When ticked, this will cause RightBooth to save event photos, print layouts and videos in the same folder as the event file
• Add the Default event file option in Settings -> Folders/Files. When specified, RightBooth will open the default event file if it cannot locate the event file that was being used during a previous session.  For example, if any event file is deleted or moved, RightBooth will open the Default event file.
• Add the Add file type subfolders setting in Settings -> Folders/Files.  When ticked, RightBooth will create sub folders for saving Photos, Videos and Print layout files
• Add the Create setting in Settings -> Miscellaneous -> User and file data.  Untick this to prevent RightBooth creating the userdetails.txt file.
• Add the Data delimiter setting in Settings -> Miscellaneous -> User and file data.  This allows you to choose the delimiter character that will be used in the userdetails.txt file.
• Add the Prevent multiple instances setting in Settings -> Start/Stop.  When ticked, this will prevent RightBooth from running more than one instance of the app.
• Prompt to save event files created with the Wizard.  At the end of the Wizard, RightBooth will now ask you to save the newly created event file.
• Show filename tooltips when selecting files in the Media Library
• AI Face swap now uses the MagicAPI service.  If you were previously using the (no longer available) Capix Face Swap service, you should switch to using the MagicAPI service.
• Add the Check server files setting in Settings -> AI -> Face swap.  Tick this to cause RightBooth to check if the chosen character image is already available on the MagicAPI remote server prior to uploading the file.  This will reduce the Face Swap time when performing multiple face swaps during a session that use the same character images.
• The Print layout override setting is now also applied in edit mode
• RightBooth will now automatically hide irrelevant print buttons if the maximum print count is reached during the session
• Print layout files are now no longer created until they are required during play mode
• An event's Current print count value is now maintained if an event file is moved to a new folder on the computer
• Make the BW and Draft print layout options unchecked by default on the Screen Editor main Toolbox
• The Ken Burns photo enhancement effect now respects the Video conversion resize settings
• Add the Justify Left/Right property to the Property Toolbox for label items and text items
• The Random property on the File Selector panel will now re-order items in an image grid each time the grid is shown
• The Shift key-Mouse click combination can now be used to select multiple files in the Media Library File selector
• Add the Password access -> Settings setting to Settings -> Security.  This allows Settings to be optionally accessed while maintaining password protection on all other areas of the app.  
• Add the Password access -> Hide account details setting to Settings -> Security.  This allows the Email and FTP account details to be hidden when viewing Settings  
• Add the Autosave setting in Settings -> Folders/Files.  Tick this to cause RightBooth to automatically save the event file after each edit has been applied.

Bug fixes

• Layout printing is not using the chosen paper size
• Crash when using the Video thumbnail File copy action
• Crash with 'Missing file' error when opening an event file
• The Print layout override count is not being applied on first play of the event
