RightBooth Version 7.16.8

Version 7.16.8 is now released and contains the following new features and fixes.

Features

• Add the Media controller item to provide a control panel for video items and video sequence items.  Details
• Add the Play audio action to allow audio files to be played from items on an event screen.
• Add the feature: Maximum number of times each user can be shown each 'Options' screen. In Event structure --> Miscellaneous
• Add the Screen Access codes feature using the new Screen property: Access code.  This allows event screens to be password protected.  When an event screen is given an access code, attempting to access the screen during Play mode will cause RightBooth to display an access code panel for entering the code.  Details
• Setting the property 'Animate Pause' = 0 on a Video Sequence item will now cause the video sequence to progress to playing the next video only after the current video has played to its completion.
• Redesign the event screen item memory management system.  It is now possible to add a maximum of 500 items onto each screen, in any combination.
• Add the Check Internet performance setting.  When On, RightBooth checks the Internet connection each time before sending files (emails, ftp uploads etc) (slower).  When Off, RightBooth will simply send the files without checking (faster).
• Add the option QR email address to Event structure --> Start. This allows an event to be used by showing a QR code to the event camera that encodes a valid email address.   The QR code can comprise any valid QR encoded email address. Note: QR email address codes can be generated using any third party QR code generator  (search the Internet for ‘QR code generator’). 

Fixes

• The Play event action now checks that the referenced file is actually an event file prior to playing it
• The Check for updates is now working
• The Reprint photos action now causes the Tasks window to remain in front of all other RightBooth windows
