Steve Mills was looking to add photo capture features to the Hangloose Adventure activities, located at the Eden Project in Cornwall. Hangloose offers a number of thrilling activities including Skywire and Skytrek. Steve thought it would be a great add-on to allow users to take photos of their experiences on the day, so he went surfing for a solution.
Steve says:
‘After a while searching I came across the RightBooth website. RightBooth seemed to offer all of the features I was looking for so I downloaded the evaluation version and started to experiment’.
Steve then contacted us with a number of questions and a couple of requests for feature enhancements. When we learned more about his use case, we were happy to help.
The end result was Steve (and co) designed and installed a network of 4 PC’s each running RightBooth at various locations around the Eden Project site.

PC 1 is located at the start of the Skywire ride. Riders approach the touchscreen driven system and use RightBooth to capture a photo of their experience prior to launching themselves down the longest zip wire in the UK! RightBooth then copies the photo(s) over the site’s network to PC 3...

PC 2, located at the end of the Skytrek activity allows users to capture the moment they complete the course. Again, RightBooth copies photos across the network to PC 3...

PC 3 is located in the Hangloose main office and is configured to run RightBooth in ‘Print Station’ mode. All photos captured by PCs 1 and 2 are automatically displayed and updated at the Station throughout the day, allowing Hangloose staff to browse, print and sell high quality photos to users.
Finally PC 4, located outside the Hangloose reception is configured to run a passive RightBooth slideshow on a large attractor screen, displaying all photos from PCs 1 and 2 in real time, along with an overlaid watermark to prevent people using their phones to snap ‘clean’ photos off the screen.
