Photo Background Remover App
Version 1.0.8 - September 2024
The Photo Background Remover (PBR) is designed to remove or replace the background in images.  It can process single images or multiple images with just one click.  PBR works well with people, animals and objects.  You can use it manually, set it working automatically or even integrate it into your own workflow by launching it from the Windows command line.  PBR runs locally on your computer.  It does not require an Internet connection.  There is no need to upload or download files, no need to register with any company, you do not have to purchase usage credits, it provides a lifetime use license and there are no costly, ongoing subscription fees.

PBR Requirements
  • A computer, laptop or graphics tablet that is running Windows 11 (or later).
  • Your System Display resolution width must be at least 1152 pixels.
  • You need a reasonable amount of free hard disk space to allow the App to save the processed images.
The App does not run on Linux or Apple Mac operating systems.
The App does not run on Windows 10 or earlier

Obtaining the Photo Background Remover App
Click this button to download the latest version of PBR:

Please note that PBR will work in Evaluation Mode until you buy a Product Code.  In Evaluation Mode PBR is fully functional to allow you to test it, but while it is in Evaluation mode a Watermark will be added to all the processed output images.

Using PBR from within RightBooth
The photo booth software RightBooth (version 7.14.24 or newer) can be set up to use PBR to replace photo backgrounds with images chosen during the RightBooth photo capture workflow.  In this situation, images processed by PBR will not be watermarked. So it is not necessary to have a product code for PBR when it is only going to be used as part of the RightBooth workflow.

Obtaining a Product Code for PBR
Click this button to buy a Product Code (or codes) that you can enter into PBR to remove Evaluation Mode and to prevent it from adding watermarks onto the processed output images:
