Text variables can be included in your event screen text and your event emails to display information that can change over the course of the event. This is best explained by an example:
{TOTALVIDEOS} - This text variable will be replaced by the total number of videos recorded in the event.
Let's assume you include a text item on an event screen containing the following text:
Users have recorded {TOTALVIDEOS} videos so far
...during the event (assuming 23 videos have been recorded), this text item will replace the variable with 23:
Users have recorded 23 videos so far
There are many text variables you can use, including the current users name, their email address, the current time and date and the amount of time remaining in the event.
