- Improve performance and reduce memory usage when switching between multiple event files in Play mode
- Bug fix: Altered the RightBooth web browser initialisation process to help reduce load times

- Added support for large animated GIF files, as they are often used within mirror booth setups (e.g. 1080 x 1920)
- Added the new screen Timeout option 'On animated GIF'. When applied, the screen will timeout when the first animated gif on the screen has completed one full loop of its animation. Note: Only applies if the screen contains an animated gif.
- Allow command line parameters to be included in any of the 'Run program' actions by surrounding the command path with double quotes, followed by parameters, e.g. "c:\myfolder\myapp.exe" p1 p2
- Reduced the default 'Take photo' capture delay to 0.2 secs and the default 'Show photo' screen timeout to 1.5 secs
- Added the option: 'folder' 'to the File Sequence selector panel. Allows you to choose your own folder as the source of files for any label, image or video sequence item

- Prevent main window appearing on second monitor when playing a multi-monitor event.
- Bug fix: Prevent app crash when taking photos in an event designed for multiple monitors
- RightBooth now alters its main window title to show the current event screen name during play mode, to allow third party window monitor applications to trigger external functions based on event screen names. See this article for details
- Allow any Sequence item Pause value to be anything up to 999 seconds (approx 17 minutes). This allows for most video items to completely finish playing before proceeding to the next item in the sequence
- An event screen will now timeout if the screen contains a Video Sequence item AND the first video in the sequence has completed playing AND the screen Timeout is set to: 'On video item'
- Bug fix: Allow the 'Redo photo' and 'Redo video' feature to work if there is a user defined screen immediately after the 'Show photo/video' screen
- Bug fix: Allow 'To Front' and 'To Back' buttons (on the Properties toolbox) to immediately change an item's layer in the Screen Editor

- Added support for the Denkovi USB 4 (and 8) Relay Output Modules Version 1.
- Event screens can now be given a 'Show' action. The Show action will occur each time a screen is shown when the event is playing.
- Added the following new event actions:
- Previous. This will show the previous set of options in an event Grid.
- Switch relays. This will set the switches on a connected Denkovi relay module. See RightBooth User Manual for more details.
- Run program. This will issue a command to Windows to run a program, script or batch file.
- Run program maximised. As 'Run program', but runs the program in maximised mode.
- Run Program Hidden. As 'Run program', but runs the program without showing it.
- RightBooth is now DPI aware. This allows RightBooth windows and dialogs to be displayed accurately at high screen resolutions with large font scaling
- Bug fix: Retain the 'Hide at end' video screen background property

Event Tasks:
- File lists are now sorted by file creation date

- An event can now be designed to (automatically or optionally) send user's event files (videos,photos,messages) to a defined recipient list without requiring the Email Address screen to be presented to each user. See this article for details
- On the first time use, RightBooth will now ask the user to select their preferred application language, either English or Spanish
- Bug fix: The 'Ask the user' count is now decremented at the point where the user chooses an option on the Event Options screen
- Bug fix: The initial text input focus is now set correctly on all event screens that contain one or more text boxes
- Bug fix: The 'Escape Code'security setting was not working on some systems
- Bug fix: A 'ShowDialog' error was happening on some systems when trying to exit the program

- All toolboxes in the Screen Editor are now displayed in the same locations they were left in from the previous editing session
- Bug fix: Prevent blink and fade animations happening to the screen when editing screen animations
- Bug fix: The Background Angle property is now applied correctly
- Added new setting 'Photo thumbnails' when copying photos to the cloud storage folder. This allows JPG thumbnail images of the event photos to be created and saved in your chosen cloud storage folder. The maximum thumbnail size is 160x120 pixels.
- Bug fix: The setting 'Use file sharing settings for photos' is now applied correctly
- The new setting: 'Application language' allows the full application interface to be shown in either the English or Spanish languages
- The new setting: 'Minimum recording time' allows video recordings to be no less than the specified time period
- RightBooth now supports sending multiple emails simultaneously. This caters for the situation where emailing very large files (> 10Mb) can cause new emails to be sent before previous emails have completed
- Added the new setting: 'Email timeout'. This defaults to 30 minutes for each email delivery. Previously this was 5 minutes
- Bug fix: Each user's name and/or email address is now saved prior to emailing their files, which prevents possible user email data loss

- RightBooth now accepts both MP4 and MOV video file formats when recorded by DSLR cameras
- Improved the reliability of video recording and transfer to PC when using Canon cameras

- Added a new RightBooth DSLR setting: 'Stop digiCamControl with RightBooth'. This will close the digicamControl app each time RightBooth is closed

- Published a 'How to' article explaining DSLR camera set up and usage within RightBooth
- Bug fix: Stopped each photo being captured twice when using certain DSLR cameras
- Image and video placeholder files now generated by the app and no longer included in the installer
- Bug fix: Remove popup message when photos are copied from a DSLR camera
- Added the new setting 'Play only' for the Karaoke recording type. With this set, the karaoke event will not record any videos and users simply sing along to their chosen track
- Added the new setting 'Capture delay' for Photo captures. This allows a short delay to be added before each photo is taken on the 'Take photo' screen. This helps to synchronise the photo capture time with the 'Smile' prompt and camera shutter sound
- Added the option to 'Keep originals' in the DSLR settings

- RightBooth has been rebuilt using the latest Microsoft development tools (v15.5) released Dec 2017
- Bug fix: Text answers are now saved when the user is given the choice of answering a question with either a video recording or a text message

- Added the new video setting Alpha channel. This can improve the quality of some images when they are overlaid on videos and photos. This setting must be used with caution as it can stop the video feed from appearing onscreen (black square) when the event is running
