RightBooth Version 7.12.0 Released

New features and fixes in this release:

• A Video and Photo Web Gallery is now created and maintained in Sharing Station events
• Access codes now have usage counts
• Add QR access code generation and printing
• Add the option for QR access code webcam scanning in order to continue past the Start event screen
• Add option to save video and photo files with filenames that include the current access code
• Add option in the Sharing Station to only show videos and photos that include the access code in their filenames
• Add the Personal Web Gallery QR code type, based on the current access code. This can be shown on an event screen to allow guests to view a web gallery containing only their videos and photos
• Multiple video segment definitions and multiple audio files can now be specified in Video Enhancements
• Remove Webcam integration options. Now fixed at Direct
• Webcam video renderer now automatically selects the appropriate renderer for the PC. This can prevent black screen previews
• Provide 2 video player options in Miscellaneous settings: 1) Windows media player and 2) RightBooth player. Switching the player can fix a variety of video playback issues, especially when combined with installing LAV filters (see manual for more details)
• Add the 'Save image' option when right clicking on any item on any event screen in the Screen Editor, to create an image file of the item
• Thumbnails now automatically created for Sharing Station and Web Gallery
• Thumbnail size and quality settings added in Social media -> Media size
• The Webcam SDK 2023 is now the default SDK on new installs
• Fix: Prevent event lockup after using the Webcam video recorder tester in Webcam Video Settings
• Fix: SendGrid not working on some systems
• Fix: 'ToDo' emails are now correctly saved in Tasks
