Spice Up Your Events With Animated GIFs

RightBooth lets you include animated GIFs in your events, and the RightBooth Media Library has lots of animations for free use.

First, make sure you download and install the Media Library here.

Then, follow these steps to add some animated GIFs into your events:

• Run RightBooth and open the event file.
• From the main screen, click the Edit button.  (in version 5 click Event Designer --> Screen Designer).
• In the Screen Editor, select the screen onto which you'd like to add an animated gif.
• Tick the Add items checkbox on the main toolbox to show the Add items toolbox.
• On the Add items toolbox, click the Image button to add a new blank image item to the screen.
• Double click the mouse on new blank image item to open the Image library.
• Then browse the library and select your image or an animated gif to include in your event.

At the time of writing this article it's nearly Christmas (Yey ! ) so here's what you get in the Christmas section of the Media Library:

And this is a selection of the gif animations and how they will look in your event...

Some of the animations, such as the snowflake animations have transparent backgrounds so you can place them over other screen items, including the webcam item to give the impression that it is snowing while your users are recording their videos.  Very cool...
